ABOUT EAST
SUSSEX HEARING
Providing support and assistance to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind in the East Sussex area. We offer a range of services including advice, communication support, and equipment provision to help people overcome the barriers they face due to their hearing loss.
MISSION & HISTORY.
East Sussex Hearing was established in 2003 by a group of dedicated staff members who recognized the need for support and services for people with hearing difficulties in the East Sussex region.
Over the years, the charity has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community, expanding its services to include audiology assessments, ear wax removal, communication training, and support groups for individuals and families.

Throughout its history, East Sussex Hearing has remained committed to its mission of improving the lives of people with hearing difficulties, advocating for their rights, and promoting access to communication services and technology. The charity has also played an important role in raising awareness about hearing loss and addressing broader issues related to hearing health and accessibility in the community.

Today, East Sussex Hearing is a vital resource for individuals with hearing difficulties in East Sussex and continues to provide high-quality, personalized services and support to those who need it most.

HEARING CHALLENGES.
OUR
CENTRE.
East Sussex Hearing is situated very close to Eastbourne town centre, the main railway station and all bus routes. We have disabled access and our centre is on the ground floor. There is no on-site visitor parking, but free on-road parking can usually be found nearby, or there are chargeable car parks locally including the Enterprise Centre Car Park and Eastbourne Railway Station.

Our goal is to maintain our centre as a sanctuary for people, where time is taken to communicate as effectively as possible.
Access to the centre is easy – all on one level – and we aim to make sure that everyone is welcomed as soon as they step inside.
